Professional Consultation for Clinicians
While engaging in deep and meaningful clinical work, it is common to encounter challenges, impasses, or emotionally complex reactions within ourselves. I bring extensive experience supporting clinicians as they navigate these moments—particularly when patients evoke strong internal responses that can feel confusing, unsettling, or difficult to integrate into treatment.
My goal is to help clinicians better understand these reactions so they can continue working with their patients in a clinically thoughtful, ethical, and effective manner. I especially enjoy connecting with clinicians from diverse educational backgrounds—including psychology, social work, and psychiatry—who are interested in psychodynamic and/or psychoanalytic approaches and may not have had extensive exposure to these frameworks during their formal training.
I strive to make complex psychodynamic concepts accessible and applicable to everyday clinical practice. Through consultation, clinicians can deepen their self-understanding, refine their clinical intuition, develop their own therapeutic style, and grow into the most grounded and effective versions of themselves while working with patients.
I also enjoy working with early-career clinicians who are interested in learning more about establishing a private practice outside the constraints of managed care. Consultation can provide both clinical depth and practical guidance during this important professional transition.
